The seiðkona

Where the fjord freezes and the ravens circle, the last seiðkona sings the old blood awake.

The last of her line — a priestess in whom the völva's gift woke. She lives alone at the edge of the fjord, between the village and the sea. The people fear her. The people come to her anyway. Every song is one rite, or one night.
